Activity Overview
The purpose of RA Record is to establish ongoing communication with clinicians who treat patients with rheumatoid arthritis to raise awareness, focus on specific and hot issues, and disseminate new information as it becomes available. To this end, RA Record features topics that relate to recent clinical studies, practice-related issues, and includes practice points gleaned from recently published articles and meeting highlights.

Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of rheumatologists, rheumatology nurse practioners and physician assistants, and other health care professionals involved in the care of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Maintain current knowledge on developments in the use of biologic agents for RA
  • Examine clinical data on the long-term safety and efficacy of biologic agents used to treat RA and how they relate to risks and benefits for individual patients
  • Evaluate clinical data (safety and efficacy) and mechanistic information on new biologic agents in development for RA
